Always be closing

When I was a sales rep I used to love the buzz of closing a sale. It was addictive. The thrill of winning new business was a high that’s hard to describe. I loved it.

Running your own business is even more hustle than 9-5 in a sales role. It’s full power 24/7. You are responsible for everything, not just new business.

The old cliche ‘always be closing’ is part and parcel of your daily flex. If you’re not clear about who you are and what you do, you can be sure no one else will know either. Freelancers need to know their ABC‘s better than anyone.
