Parental plateau

Our folks do the best they can for us. They raise us, support us and teach us well. For much of our early lives, our parents are our go to source of guidance.

Over time, that changes. We outgrow parental insight. Our lives expand beyond the realm of their experience. This tipping point presents a new dynamic.

In our adult lives there are situations that require additional perspective. A friend, sibling or mentor could step in. It’s a moment of inspiration that leads us to reach out to this extended network.

It shows that we’re growing up. Actuating into adults. Living out our potential.
