Somatic release

I went on a date once with a Turkish woman. We met cycling through London Fields late one Friday night. Seda invited me to 5 Rhythms at Old Finsbury Town Hall.

I got there after a long day in the office. I’d already trained in the pool, attended a yoga class and had a 20 minute sauna. And it’s exactly like the scene from Peep Show.

I’m an open minded guy. I love music and getting lost at festivals. I was in there, exactly like Jez.

Since then I’ve become increasingly interested in somatics. I’ve been exploring the potentiality for trauma release, empowerment and renewal. I’ve found that conscious movement with connected breath has profound healing capabilities.

Ecstatic dance is one of the main tools that I use to move energy around the body and to release energetic blockages.
