One of the ways that I make a living as a blogger is through a travel website. Since the beginning of the pandemic, demand for this destination has all but dried up. Visitor numbers to the site are way down since UK holiday makers are under lockdown.

Domestic travel may return in some form over the coming months. Day trips have become more common and the way that hospitality businesses serve customers is adapting. In this slowly unfolding disaster, accommodation providers are the most hard hit.

Staycations have been increasingly popular and will continue to enjoy growth as preferences and attitudes change.
